Las Vegas Shoot

This is a tear from a recent project done for a home developer.  I worked with Fervor Creative on this project, I think they've done an exceptional job with what I have seen so far.  I've worked with Fervor for a few years now and have always thought highly of the work they put out.  Don and Jami were also involved with the Inamorata book project

Daily Pic

I know it may be hard to fathom, but there is a photographer in this image... can you find him?

New York

Just returned from a cold and damp New York City.  I flew out to shoot another portrait for GLAAD.  The trip went well... and I am happy with the images (I've posted a few).  Like the previous shots, they are naturally lit.  It was a bit more difficult since the sky was clouded over and it was raining... not a lot of ambient light, but you'd never guess it from the final images.

Frances Shoot

I just wanted to post an image from a recent shoot.  I really enjoy this image and the pairing of the second, but one of the things that I love most about the image is what is going on outside the frame.  The photographs were taken in a semi-ruff area in Phoenix, while I was making the images under this bridge two vagrant *#%*wads were shouting and throwing bottles and various pieces of trash at us.  My hats off to Cass for keeping her cool, the shots looked great.

Lost and Found

I was recently asked to hang some work at a shop here in Phoenix, because most of the newer work was already being exhibited I had to crack open some dusty crates that were in storage at the studio.  The wooden boxes contained many old pieces from projects shot long ago, as well as various photographs that I've collected over the years.
I found this series, which was done for a brief period in 1997.  There are only 10 images in the series and each image is printed in an edition of 10.  In most of the photographs I had to serve as my own model because I had just moved into Arizona from Chicago and knew very few people... even fewer who would be interested in stripping down to nothing for a photographer they didn't know.  The work was exhibited in Phoenix and Milwaukee, then crated and forgotten.
The images were seen by someone at Calumet Photographic and I was asked to shoot the cover for the catalog, all very exciting I know... anyway, here are a couple of the images.
